World Gourmet most recently announced its official launch of its annual World Top Gourmet Awards 2019 for the 3rd consecutive year, but for the very first time made its debut landmark cooperation with World Tourism for the inaugural World Top Tourism Awards 2019. With this combined efforts between the two reputable organizations, all concerned global fanatics for food and travel will witness amongst the best of the best in the F&B and Travel & Tourism Industries.

One of the distinctive purposes of the crossover collaboration, according to Peggy Chong, the Founder of World Top Gourmet Awards is the dual awards serve as an effort to promote food and tourism, in line with Truly Asia Malaysia 2020 campaign, which contributing towards the goal of attracting 30 million tourists to Malaysia and registering RM100 billion in tourist receipts by the year 2020. “As the Co-founder of World Top Tourism Awards, I’m extremely delightful to work hand-in-hand with World Top Tourism Awards Founder, Ada Poon to achieve our goals,” said Chong.

Taking place on 16th October 2019 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, the prestigious international gala awards will concretize to set the highest benchmark in food & beverage (F&B) and tourism sectors to empower more industry players to be passionate on serving world-class cuisines and top-notch services to its customers. With the support and endorsement of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), the annual awards will strive to recognise the diversity of the F&B and tourism industries in appreciation to those who have made significant efforts and contributions in the industries; to support and promote outstanding brands to locals and tourists; and to facilitate an environment where F&B and tourism operators can connect, gain knowledge and become more empowered.
