Muhibbah Apps Talent 2015 Launches Top 10 Korean Apps

The regional Korean Apps Wave event series, Muhibbah Apps Talent 2015 launched Top 10 Korean Apps in Malaysia at the Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside Hotel on 9th September 2015. The event that featured various Korean mobile apps ranging from games to social media apps was hosted by My Appszil Asia Sdn Bhd with the support from the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), sponsored by MOIBA and co-organized by Ubinuri Inc. 

Among the Top 10 Korean Apps that were launched include Boto the Pink Dolphin (Android), an education app that is designed to foster creativity and talents of children through a game play;  BrideCall (Android and iOS), a free call service that automatically connects to calls for ‘free’ between BridgeCall users using the phone's default calling app; FAMY – Family chat and location tracking app (Android and iOS), it features Accurate Location Tracking, Storing History of Movement Paths, Group Location Sharing and Sending SOS message to keep your loved ones safe; Invention Savers (Android), an invention game that aims to nurture young creative minds and educate them on the principles of basic invention; Reading Adventure (Android), an easy and fun English stories with clear text and vibrant images; and more.

Besides showcasing the top mobile apps from Korea and Malaysia, the 2-day event was also jam-packed with presentations by each of the app developers who shared their success strategies as well as the challenges they faced in the process. 

The Ambassador of Korea to Malaysia H.E. Cho Byungjae who graced the event took the opportunity to visit all exhibitions and applaud the developers for their good work. He added, “It was great to witness this collaboration between Malaysia and Korea that opens up more opportunities for all in the app development market.”

In addition, UbiNuri Inc., My Appszil Asia Sdn Bhd and Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the event to promote collaboration and localisation of Malaysian apps in Korea. This paved the way for future opportunities for technopreneurs in both countries to explore and benefit from.
