Kota Buku Announces the Finalists for Page to Pitch (P2P) Media 360

Malaysia’s leading hub for publishers, authors and readers; Kota Buku in collaboration with Kumpulan Media Karangkraf and the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) announced the finalists for the world’s first publishing to media pitching competition, Page to Pitch (P2P) Media 360.

The finalists, who are one step closer to getting the chance to see their own ideas getting published or adapted, were selected through a screening process by a panel of judges from Kota Buku, Kumpulan Media Karangkraf and FINAS. The entries were shortlisted from over a 100 submissions.

The shortlisted authors will be contacted by the executive committee of P2P Media 360 to come in for the pitching session in front of a panel of local and international industry experts on 7th (for Category 1) and 8th (for Category 2) May 2016 during the Kuala Lumpur Trade and Copyright Centre (KLTCC) 2016.

The first category promises aspiring writers an opportunity to publish their ideas into a publication with Karangkraf worth RM50,000 in value, apart from RM5,000 grand prize from Kota Buku and an international marketing opportunity once their idea is published. Whereas the winner of the second category will receive a green lane for their application in the FINAS development grant worth up to RM500,000 in value, apart from RM5,000 grand prize from Kota Buku and an international marketing opportunity.
