Upin & Ipin Jeng, Jeng, Jeng! is set to make its way to the silver screen on November 2016 as the nation's first live-action animated film. Directed by Erma Fatima with Hajjah Aenon Ariff, the film combines 3D animation technique by Les’ Copaque Production with live action scenes by KRU Studios.

Furthermore, the film, which cost approximately RM4 million is supported by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and FINAS under its Special Effects (CGI) Fund.

Upin & Ipin Jeng, Jeng, Jeng! tells the story of Asyiela who is an orphan staying in an orphanage, ‘Rumah Anak Yatim Haji Makmur’ and has always been an Upin & Ipin fan until they became her imaginary friends. One day, the orphanage home is about to be repossessed due to the founder’s old debts. Asyiela then decided to organise a concert to raise funds for the orphanage with Azhar, a rocker. In order to attract the crowd, Asyiela promised that Upin Ipin will be the guest star at the concert.

The film will star Upin & Ipin's original voice actress, Asyiela Putri, Puteri Balqis, Sara Ali, Remy Ishak, and Malaysia's renowned rocker; Awie. It will be officially distributed by Primeworks Distribution in Malaysia and Indonesia.

To-date, the film’s teaser has recorded more than 2 million views and received massive responses from the public.
