Over 1,000 Industry Experts in Mobile Game Ecosystem to Attend Mobile Games Asia 2016

Mobile Games Asia 2016 (MGA 2016), a conference and exhibition on the Southeast Asian Mobile Games Industry, is set to be attended by over 1,000 industry leaders and experts from all around the world to share insights, discuss trends and ideas to pave the way for a better mobile game ecosystem.

Hosted bi-annually in Southeast Asia, the conference is hosted by Global Mobile Game Confederation (GMGC) and will be held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, on 13th to 14th July 2016. This year, MGA 2016 will cover information on incredibly fast growing markets of Asia, a pitching competition, and a B2B exhibition area.

One of the event’s highlights is the sixth edition of the Indie Pitch Arena, an ultimate indie developer pitching competition organised by GMGC in cooperation with Gaming Top Talent. The competition brings together the most promising indie game developers in the region for a live on-stage battle for investment, partnership opportunities and cash prizes. Winners stand to win cash prizes up to US$2,000 and a chance to participate in Gaming Top Talent; one of the biggest mobile game developers competitions in the world.

In addition, the MGA 2016 also features speakers from Evangelist King, Maingames, Google Play, Tapjoy, Game Plus, Imperia Online, Twitter and many more to share the insights on the growth and development of the mobile game industry.

Previously, MGA was held in Bangkok, Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City, with over 1,000 attendees from 26 countries, 40 speakers, and 400 companies.
