Dain Said’s ‘Interchange’ Makes Its Way to Festival del Film Locarno

Dain Said's highly anticipated third feature film, Interchangewill first greet the audience in Switzerland as it was selected to be screened at Festival del Film Locarno which will take place from 3rd to 13th August 2016.

Set to be screened on 5th August 2016, Interchange will be sharing the screen with 16 other international titles from all over the world in the Piazza Grande section.

Festival del Film Locarno is a renowned film festival aiming to discover new talents and new trends. The festival has established itself as an invaluable launch-pad for the new generation. Amongst filmmakers who have been spotted during the festival are Claude Chabrol, Stanley Kubrick, Spike Lee and Gus Van Sant.

Interchange is a supernatural movie that tells the story of a man named Adam, a forensic photographer who is dragged by his best friend, Detective Man into an investigation of ritual murders in the city. Written by Dain Said, June Tan, Nandita Solomon and Redza Minhat, based on an original story by Dain Said; the film starred award-winning Malaysian and Indonesian actors Shaheizy Sam, Iedil Putra, Nicholas Saputra, and Prisia Nasution among others.

Interchange is set to premiere in Malaysian cinemas in 2017.
