Dennis Lau Enters Malaysia Book of Records for ‘Most Music Collaborations by an Instrumentalist’

Dennis Lau, a renowned Malaysian electric violinist officially enters The Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) for Most Number of Music Collaborations by an Instrumentalist (Violinist) with 100 artists and performers. The certificate was presented by Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, Founder of the Malaysia Book of Records, on 8th August 2016 at the MBR’s Awards Night.

His latest achievement marks another milestone for the award-winning musician; who has collaborated with both local and international artistes such as Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza, Shila Amzah, Adam Lambert, David Tao, and many others, as he will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Malaysia Book of Records.

“I’m deeply grateful to the Malaysia Book of Records for recognising my efforts and would like to extend my gratitude to the collaborators as well as the team who has supported me so far. Always be rooted, and know that your dreams and goals are just a grasp away from your mind,” said Dennis.

Currently, Dennis is planning for a solo concert on 22nd October 2016 titled Dennis Lau & Friends - The Phoenix Rising Concert. Set to be held at Megastar Arena, Kuala Lumpur, the concert will draw more than 10 artists including Ning Baizura, Vince Chong, Atilia Haron, Russell Curtis and more.

The Malaysia Book of Records Awards Night, also known as Night of Achievers is a biennial event that celebrates and presents MBR certificates to selected Record-Holders and Achievers of the Year. This year, the event was graced by the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who also launched the 10th edition of the Malaysia Book of Records.
