Bunkface joined the final nominations line-up after winning the wild card round against four other bands; The Sam Willows (Singapore), Donnalyn Bartolome (Philippines), SHAE (Indonesia) and ToR+ Saksit (Thailand).
"We are ecstatic to be nominated alongside other big names and music icons from Southeast Asia, and we hope our fans will continue voting for us in this category," said Bunkface who also revealed that they are currently recording their fourth studio album, which is targeted for release in 2017.
"Most of the songs in this album will be in English, as we hope to take this opportunity to market our music in Europe, which has always been our target market besides Asia," they added.
Yuna on the other hand, has just embarked on her American Tour after completing the European leg of her Chapters tour. Recently, the singer's latest single, All I Do from her critically-acclaimed album, Chapters was featured in the popular American TV series, Grey's Anatomy.
