WebTVAsia-METUB Network Vietnam Signing Ceremony

Asia's fastest growing digital media entertainment company, WebTVAsia officially penned three partnership agreements with METUB Network Vietnam, United Entertainment Partners (UEP) China and HTC Taiwan, as part of the company's expansion plan to intensify its presence in the region.

The partnership will allow WebTVAsia a direct access to the video and talent under METUB Network, including 300 content channels that boast 350 million views monthly.

Furthermore, in an effort to increase its reach in Taiwan, the media group also sealed a year-long marketing partnership with HTC to drive the creation of content and digital marketing campaigns for the company's ‘VIVELAND VR’ theme park in Taipei, Taiwan.

On the other hand, the company's content creation arm; Prodigee Media announced its venture with China's UEP to produce Raiders of Nanyang, an action adventure feature film based on the legend of Admiral Zheng He.

"The acquisition, investment and partnership deals that we are announcing today not only provide us with a larger footprint in this region, it also allows us to further penetrate into the individual markets that we've been active in over the last three years," said Fred Chong, Group Chief Executive Officer of WebTVAsia.

The digital media group officially announced the deals during a signing ceremony held prior to its most anticipated digital content creators awards show, WebTVAsia Awards 2016 in Seoul, South Korea on 26th November 2016.
