Les’ Copaque Production Sdn Bhd hits another milestone as the production giant garnered a ‘Gold Play Button’ plaque from YouTube recently for surpassing over one million subscribers on the video-sharing platform. Les’ Copaque also received a ‘Silver Play Button’ plaque on the same day, subsequently establishing Les’ Copaque Production’s YouTube Channel as the ‘Most Subscribed YouTube Channel’ in Malaysia.
The channel, which was created in 2009 to share the company’s latest developments with their fans, became more popular as Les’ Copaque partnered with YouTube in 2012 and began producing animated short, DaDuDiDo which is screened exclusively on YouTube.
“The awards set a new benchmark for Les’ Copaque as we just celebrated our 10th anniversary. Looking ahead, we are aiming for the ‘Diamond Play Button,’ which requires a channel to have 10 million subscribers. I believe it is not impossible especially with the support from our fans and products,” said Hj. Burhanuddin Md Radzi, Managing Director of Les’ Copaque Production.
Furthermore, one of the videos in the channel titled, New Toys was presented the ‘Most Popular Video in Malaysia’ award after garnering over 27 million views, at the WebTVAsia Awards 2016 which was held in Seoul, South Korea recently.
To-date, the Les’ Copaque YouTube channel has a total of 1,125,583 subscribers and 821,812,682 views, with an average of over 50,000 views per video.
