42nd Pictures’ upcoming film project, Terbalik (Upside Down) is shortlisted for the 15th Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), which is set to be held from 13th to 15th March 2017 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Terbalik, which is a thriller about a man who is tortured and forced to play a movie character while being recorded, was shortlisted together with other 23 projects out of over 350 submissions from 14 different countries and regions.
Last year, Terbalik scored the Aurora Producing Award worth SGD$20,000 towards the production of the project at the second Southeast Asian Film Financing (SAFF) project market in Singapore.
“As one of the most recognized film-financing platforms in Asia, HAF will continue its role in connecting filmmakers and their upcoming film projects with internationally prominent film financiers, producers, bankers, distributors, buyers, and funders for potential co-production ventures,” said the organiser.
The 15th HAF will present a total of ten awards, worth up to HK$1,372,000 in cash and value in-kind.
