Renowned actor, Datuk Jalaludin Hassan and regional TV host and wellness personality, Jojo Struys made an appearance at GINTELL health and wellness fair to build awareness of a healthy lifestyle among Malaysians.

Datuk Jalaludin shared some tips on how to maintain a healthy, stress-free lifestyle even with a busy schedule. He explained, “After a long day at work, I will return home to my family and spend some quality time with them. It is important to have a good work and life balance.” Some lucky fans were also able to get an exclusive meet-and-greet session with him. Meanwhile, Jojo Struys demonstrated some simple yet useful breathing techniques for attendees to try and practice in their daily lives. She commented, “Sometimes we are too busy with our lives that we forgot to take some time off and relax.”

The event, held in IOI Mall, Puchong, was in conjunction with GINTELL’s official launch of DéSpace Star Massage Chair. Datuk Jalaludin Hassan alongside GINTELL group’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Simon Hue officiated the event.

According to the National Health and Morbidity Survey 2015, physical inactivity is said to be the fourth leading risk factor for global mortality, marking 6 percent of deaths globally. This follows right after high blood pressure (13%), tobacco use (9%), and high blood glucose (6%). However, demanding work responsibilities have resulted in many foregoing any additional physical activities which directly leads to high stress levels and preventable illnesses.

Mr Simon explained, “With the rise of technology and modernisation, some Malaysians have neglected their health with many ending up suffering from preventable diseases. The common reason would be the lack of time and so, we at GINTELL, have revolutionized our massage chair to help alleviate that problem.”

The health fair promotion will take place throughout the holiday period until January 1, 2018.
