Malaysia Fashion Week (MFW) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the stakeholders at Menara MATRADE. Present at the signing was its Honorary Chairman Dato’ Professor Jimmy Choo, MATRADE’s CEO Dato’ Wan Latiff Wan Musa and the Founder of MFW, Dato’ Nancy Yeoh-Reissiger. Also present was its co-Chairman Bon Zainal, Dato Hasan Azhari Idris CEO of Invest Selangor and representatives of the Ministry of Tourism, KPDNHEP and DBKL.

During the media conference, Dato’ Nancy Yeoh-Reissiger announced that MFW will kick off its official calendar during the second half of this year with MFW 2019 at Miami Modest Fashion Week. A trade exhibition will run from the 13-15 July and the fashion shows are on the 14-15 July. Following up with the photo shoots with Malaysian and Asian Designers taking place in the best-known spots in Miami such as the Design and Fashion District, Gianni Versace’s Historical Former Mansion and the Arts District in Wynwood.

Malaysia Fashion Week 2019 continues with MFW Trade Show which will be initiated at Publika, KL from the 14-20 Oct 2019. A total of 110 booths of exhibition which will cover the Boulevard, the Square, the White Box and the Black Box with the theme of FAB - Fashion, Art, Beauty. Bon Zainal, co-Chairman of MFW said “Fashion and Cruisewear, Modestyle, Menswear and Young and Emerging Designs will come together with Fine Art and beauty, wellness and aesthetics to make it one of the most exciting trade shows during Malaysia Fashion Week 2019”.
Completing the Malaysia Fashion Week 2019 festival, MFW will present the first-ever final show of the year for 11 days from 22 Nov - 1st Dec 2019 at Quill City Mall. “The MFW festival will cover the Ground Floor and 1st Floor of the Quill City Mall and the 6th floor of its Convention Centre and will usher in the festive season with a trade and STYLO Consumer fashion show”, says Douglas Chew the newly appointed Creative Director of MFW .
