Today on New Year’s Eve, local animation license, Ejen Ali gets a major boost with an announcement of Primeworks Studio and AirAsia jointly collaborating to distribute and export Ejen Ali’s original merchandizes through OURSHOP, AirAsia’s newly launched e-commerce platform. The official launch and announcement was a strong commitment by all parties, evident by the presence of Datuk Ahmad Izham Omar, CEO of Primeworks Studios, Ms. Aireen Omar is Deputy Group CEO (Digital, Transformation and Corporate Services), Ms. Lalitha Sivanaser, CEO of OURSHOP, Mr Usamah Zaid Yasin, CEO of WAU Animation (also Animation Director of Ejen Ali) and Mr Hasnul Hadi Samsudin, Vice President of Creative Content & Technologies of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).

The partnership was kicked off at OURSHOP’s first pop-up store in Lot10 Shopping Center, Bukit Bintang, from 12 December 2019 to 1 January 2020. Best Sellers from Ejen Ali’s wide range of consumer products were on offer, including the styling scooter, walkie-talkie and the latest line of Back-to-School gear. Limited quantities of the EJEN ALI THE MOVIE Official Comic Book will also be in-store from 31 December 2019 onwards ahead of its release in bookstores nationwide in 2020.
