Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara is set to celebrate the Holy month of Ramadan in collaboration with renowned chef, Dato’ Chef Haji Ismail Ahmad to deliver a feast of traditional Malay cuisine from different states across the country. The Ramadan buffet will be held at the hotel's all-day dining restaurant, Kwee Zeen that will be transformed into a gallery of antique decorations to add to the nostalgic ambiance and theme of the celebration.

The “Nostalgic Feast” themed buffet
The Hotel’s Executive Chef Fabrice Bruto, together with celebrity Chef Dato’ Haji Ismail Ahmad prepared a spread of authentic and diverse kampung-inspired dishes for the “Nostalgic Feast” themed buffet. Quench your thirst with traditional beverages such as Janda Pulang, a palm-sugar infused coconut drink that originated from Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan.
Start your feast at the salad bar to kickstart your appetite with varieties of Pecal, Tauhu Sumbat, Lawar Pucuk Betik, Acar Jelatah, Kerabu Mangga Muda, Kerabu Taugeh dan Kerang, Kerabu Aneka Laut dan Soo Hoon, and Kerabu Daging Bakar.

Among the main courses prepared by the celebrity chef exclusively for the hotel are Ayam Percik Kelantan, Daging Salai Masak Lemak Cili Padi, Asam Pedas Ikan Pari, Sambal Udang Petai, Telur Itik Masak Lemak Cili Api, Botak-Botak Ikan Tenggiri, Paru Berlada, Ayam Kaloi, Daging Masak Hitam, Dalca Sayur, Udang Masak Lemak Nenas, Ikan Pari Asam Pedas, as well as a selection of Panggang Purba served with Malay rice.
