The next edition of Midem will take place on 1st-4th June 2021, in Cannes, France. In the meantime, Global Creative and Media Agency (GCMA), the Southeast Asia representative of Reed Midem will continue to promote and cooperate with the local authorities and its industry for music and performing arts for various MIDEM music campaigns in 2020 and a better year towards 2021.
Alexandre Deniot, Midem Director said "Given the uncertainty surrounding the fatal virus and companies concerns for the safety of their people, it is not possible to hold Midem during June 2020 in Cannes, the Midem team is working hard to support the industry during this challenging time, especially artists and companies that have taken the hardest hits. Global music unity is more important now than ever."
