CineDrive, becomes only the 2nd outdoor cinema operator to open its door in KL since Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO). The announcement was made on 18th September 2020 during the movie premiere by YB Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin, Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia (KKMM). Operated by Deromp Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd, the outdoor cinema will begin its public screening of movies at the 1Utama Shopping Centre Outdoor Parking, beginning 19th September to 27th September 2020 with several new improved features compared to its competitor: 


  • CineDrive to offer the largest digital screen ever, measuring 16m x 7m, boasting its crystal clear visuals regardless of where your car is positioned. 
  • CineDrive to provide a powerful & clear audio system via a special radio frequency (approved by MCMC), instead of installation of bluetooth speakers in your vehicle. 
  • CineDrive has no limitations in the number of pax per vehicle, provided it is within the legal passenger capacity of the vehicle.
  • CineDrive is priced the lowest in KL at RM 80 per vehicle, which also includes 1 large popcorn + 2 drinks. 
  • CineDrive provides a maximum capacity of 200 cars per show time, making it the largest in the country. 
  • CineDrive will also air 2 movies on weekdays at 6pm & 9:30pm respectively, while weekends will see an additional show time at 9:30am. 

Deromp Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd’s strives to bring the best in entertainment in the safest environments during the RMCO period. CineDrive will be airing 22 movies in the span of 9 days which will also include some Malaysian blockbusters.

Kopitiam, Pengabdi Setan, Detective Pikachu, Birds of Prey, Aquaman, Ferdinand, Crazy Rich Asians, 300, Logan, Oceans Eleven, The Greatest Showman, Matrix, Mad Max, Ford vs Ferrari, The Lego Movie 2, Joker, Alita, Spies in Disguise, Spiderman and The Conjuring are the final selections of the movies available during this limited period of showcase. 

In line with being environmentally friendly, Deromp Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd. has committed to offsetting all carbon emissions generated from idle cars through the purchase of carbon credits from local solar power projects certified by Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia (SEDA).
