Award-winning singer, Anuar Zain is back with a new album after a five year hiatus, featuring the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Budapest Scoring Orchestra.

The album, which retains the title of Anuar Zain similar to its predecessors features eight tracks; five of which were written by Malaysian composers, including Najwa Mahiaddin, Azalea and others as well as three by Indonesian composers; Numata,  Alam Anggara Urbach and Alto.

Citing different strings tell distinctive stories; Anuar believes the orchestras add another level of emotion to his sound, especially on Kembali Padamu Ilahi, of which the lyrics were written by Dalilah Tamrin when she was battling breast cancer. The orchestras were also featured on Belahan Hati, and Selamat Malam.

"I believe my team, Anuar Zain Network and I are much wiser now in our song selections, and hope that we are able to continue producing better albums in the years to come. Every song has a story of its own, from its first step until the end of the recording process, and hopefully you can experience their quality in this album," said the versatile singer.

The first single off the album, Andainya Takdir written by Helen Yap and Habsah Hassan has already climbed up the charts in Malaysia and Singapore. The music video, which features Anuar playing a role next to Sharifah Sakinah and Puteri Balqis Azizi will meet his fans by the end of this week on his official YouTube channel.

Anuar’s fifth album will be released on 1st October 2016.
