Animasia Studio’s action comedy series, Chuck Chicken has successfully landed on several channels in Asia and now broadcasting on Wuhan Kids TV (China), MediaCorp Suria Channel (Singapore), and Media Prima TV9 (Malaysia).
Co-ventured by Fuzhou ZeroOne Animation (China), the animation series is ranked on the top spot throughout its broadcast period in November 2016 on Jia Jia Cartoon Channel (China), and has garnered more than 800-million views on China’s largest online video platform, iQiyi – besides performing well on Disney Channel SEA, Nickelodeon (India), and Disney China.
Targeted at children aged 7 to 11 years old, the 2D animated series which consists of 52, 11-minute episodes tells the story of Chuck who runs a security company at Rocky Perch island with his two friends, Flick and Wing. While Chuck inherits a special talisman in the shape of a golden egg; an object that bestows amazing powers on whoever possesses it – his powerful new abilities often put Chuck and his friends in bizarre adventures.
With the success of the TV series, Animasia Studio and Fuzhou ZeroOne Animation have structured another co-venture deal in 2016 for Chuck Chicken the Movie, which is set to be released in 2018.
